Movavi launches Media Octopus, a new application designed to help users manage media files and portable media devices.
Movavi Media Octopus lets users work with both audio and video libraries on PCs and connected portable media devices. The software enables loading of video clips or DVDs onto popular portable devices, including iPod or PSP, with a single click. All the user need do is select a file or disk and specify the target device. Movavi Media Octopus automatically chooses the correct algorithm and conversion parameters, and loads all the required data onto the device.

Movavi Reports Financial Results for 2008 and Announces Key Staff Appointments
Movavi, a leading developer of multimedia processing tools, today announced financial results for fiscal 2008. Total sales volume increased by 27% compared with 2007; the tough economic situation which developed in the fourth quarter of 2008 had no significant effect on sales volume, which remained the same as for the fourth quarter of 2007. Preliminary results for the first quarter of fiscal 2009 indicate that sales levels will again be comparable with the same period in 2008.
