If the size of the output file is irrelevant and only quality matters we would recommend you to choose MPEG2 - Best Quality on the tab Advanced. 3. The converted file is too large. How can I reduce size of the output video? The file size mainly depends on the Bitrate: the lower Bitrate you choose the smaller files with worse quality you get. Optimal Bitrate (for .avi file) is 800 kbps. If you use Dixv codec please do the following: - Tap 'Settings' button on 'Advanced' tab. If you use Xvid codec please do the following: - Tap 'Settings' on 'Advanced' tab. 4. The quality of converted file is rather poor. How can I increase the quality? The video quality depends on the Bitrate: the higher Bitrate you choose the larger files of better quality you get. If you use Dixv codec please do the following: - Tap 'Settings' button on 'Advanced' tab. If you use Xvid codec please do the following: - Tap 'Settings' on 'Advanced' tab. 5. How can I change the frame size of the output video? - open Movavi Video Converter and add the files you would like to convert to the 'Source File' list; 6. Can I increase the volume of the output video? You can change the volume only of AC3 sound (DVD): - choose 'Preferences' in Tools Menu; 7. There are "black bars" on the converted video. What should I do? When the original video has one resolution (e.g. 720x480) while you convert it with some other resolution (e.g. 720x576) Convert Video adds black bars so the output video would not be deformed. We might recommend you to try the other Resize method: - click 'Settings' on Advanced tab; 8. When playing or converting my videos I don't have sound (video). You don't have the appropriate codecs installed on your computer. Download this Codec Pack to get all popular codecs installed on your computer. 9. Video and audio are out of sync, when I play or convert files. Make sure the original video doesn't have the sync problem. If the input file plays fine from beginning to end please: - upload the original video to ftp://movavi2.com/incoming/ If you are not familiar with uploading to ftp, please, read step-by-step instruction: Open Windows Explorer; Type: ftp://movavi2.com/incoming/ in Address field and press Enter; Drag the file you would like to upload to the Windows Explorer window; Close the window after the copying process is complete. Open DVD and press the Blue Arrow button in the Opened Files area, then select the audio stream you need. 11. PSP doesn't recognize MP4 files from Movavi VideoSuite. Since VOB is a container format for DVD-Video media requiring special software and VOB files are encoded very much like standard MPEG-2 files we would recommend you to choose MPEG - and MPEG2 in Save Wizard window - Output format. Edit Video 24. Where is the 'Save' button? To apply changes and save video please click on the 'Share' button. It will open output settings window. 25.
