How to capture VHS Revive your old movie collection and family videos stored on VHS cassettes with Movavi Video Suite! Just connect up your VHS capture device or plug the TV-tuner with VHS capturing function into your PC — it will be automatically detected by the Capture Video application — and click the Start Capture button. Here are the easy steps.


Step 1: Download and Install Movavi Video Suite
Click here to download Movavi Video Suite. After the download is finished, run the .exe file and follow the Installation Wizard instructions.



Step 2: Connect Your VHS Capture Device
Connect your TV-tuner or capture card with analog inputs to the PC. Connect your VHS player to the analog inputs of the capture device. Turn on the VHS player and start the Video Capture application from Movavi Video Suite main window.

Step 3: Set VHS Capturing Preferences
Choose your TV-tuner model in Video Capture Device drop-down list. Set Composite video capture source and Audio Line-In audio capture source. Specify the name for the output file and the folder where the captured files will be stored.

Step 4: Start Capturing
Launch the capture process by clicking the Start Capture button. Then start playing the video cassette in your VHS player. You can stop the capture by clicking the Stop Capture button.

After the capture is complete, you'll find the captured video in the folder you specified. Now you can edit and enhance your old analog videos using Movavi Video Suite's 21st century digital technology!
