How to Record Video Games on PC
It’s quite obvious that recording video games on PC is a cool and necessary feature for professional gamers and people who just love playing good games from time to time. Advanced gamers can use video from their favorite games, such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, World of Tanks, or Grand Theft Auto, to share their success with friends and improve their gaming skills. So, how to record gameplay on your PC? There’s no need to buy an expensive gameplay recorder because there’s a universal software from Movavi which allows to grab game video at full screen as well as to create screencasts and save online video to the hard drive.
Game recording can be performed at the frame rate up to 60 so you will get a smooth game video record in HD quality by pressing a single button!
Step 1: Adjust the Recording Settings
Select the Capture Game mode on the right part of the program interface. For dynamic games go to Capture > Options > Video and set the maximum frame rate (60). It will lead to a better quality of game video recording and a bigger size of the output file. So make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive.
Step 2: Record the Video Game
When the Capture Game mode is chosen, the program control switches to the keyboard. Run the game and simply press F10 to start and stop recording the gaming session. To pause and resume the process, press F9.
Step 3: Save the Video in the Format You Need
Click the Save button and our game recorder will save your movie in the AVI format. Want a different one? Just tick the Convert to option, choose the desired format or preset for a mobile device, and click Convert. You can choose the Online Video preset and then click Share to upload it to YouTube or Facebook via built-in online sharing application.
Now you know what's the best way to record video game footage. No additional hardware required. Movavi Game Capture won’t affect your computer’s performance but it will record your every movement in the world of your favorite computer game, be it WoT, GTA, Warthunder, Max Payne 2, Sims 3, or any other.
