Download the App for Android
Go to the Play Market and find Movavi Clips. Once it’s downloaded, launch the application by tapping on the icon.
Add Your Footage
Touch the Plus button at the very bottom and choose Video to upload a clip. Select the video you need to crop and tap Start editing. Specify the aspect ratio needed, e.g., square for a regular Instagram post or rectangular 9:16 for Instagram Stories. The footage will be added to the Timeline.

Crop a Video on an Android Phone
Tap the Crop icon on the toolbar. In the window, move the frame around until you like the result. You can also zoom in on the video to highlight specific details of your footage. Tap the Check mark icon to apply the changes.

Save the Cropped Clip
To transfer the resulting video to your gallery, touch the Floppy disc icon. On the new screen, tap Save. Now you can upload the cropped clip wherever you want!
