DTS was created by Digital Theater Systems for storing multi-channel audio data. The DTS format is supported by many audio playback devices. We’ve provided the specifications for the DTS file type below.
A DTS file contains five audio tracks for surround sound systems: one center, two front, and two rear speakers.
