How to record your screen and webcam
Add a personal touch to your recordings. Overlay your screencast with a webcam video to show who the real hero is. You can also use a simple webcam recorder when you only need to capture your face without the screen. For long sessions, you may want to schedule recordings instead of starting each one manually.
Step 2. Adjust the recording settings
Before you start, select the recording area. To do this, сlick the Screen recording button and select the portion of the screen you want to capture. Use your mouse to drag the edges of the frame to the right position.
On the recording panel, make sure the Webcam, Microphone, and System audio icons are highlighted in green, which means these options are active.
You can adjust the size and position of the webcam video. Click and hold the video circle with the left mouse button, then drag it to the corner of the frame where you want to place it.
To change the size of the webcam video, hover over the circle and select the option that works best for you – it will turn green and the video size will update instantly.
Step 3. Record your screen and webcam
When you are ready, click the REC button. The recording process will start after a 3-second countdown. To finish recording, click Stop.
Step 4. Save the result
Click the Export button. In the dialog box that appears, choose the output format and click Save.
