How to use Intel® HD Graphics Acceleration
First, add the files you want to convert to Movavi Video Converter. Then check the preset list – if a preset supports Intel® Acceleration, it will be marked with a blue Intel HD Graphics label. If you want your files to be converted faster, just choose one of these presets, and then click Convert.
Intel® HD Graphics Acceleration is enabled by default. You can disable it in the Settings menu under Preferences as shown in the picture left if you wish.
NVIDIA® Hardware Acceleration
Movavi Video Converter is optimized for NVIDIA® CUDA™ and NVENC, ensuring faster video encoding on NVIDIA® graphics cards. Use of NVIDIA® CUDA™ and NVENC technologies provides a significant – up to fourfold – performance gain, delivering high-speed HD and SD video conversion.

NVIDIA® NVENC Advantage
NVENC is a newer technology from NVIDIA, superseding CUDA™. In NVENC, video encoding is performed on a special chip embedded in the video processor. Just as with CUDA™, NVENC boosts performance and reduces the load on the CPU during conversion. Plus, unlike CUDA™, NVENC supports the simultaneous conversion of multiple media files.

NVIDIA® NVDEC Advantage
This technology from NVIDIA® makes it easier to work with large video files (in 4K and 8K). On PCs with up-to-date graphics cards and weak or loaded processors, videos are loaded into the program significantly faster, and delays during playback and editing are reduced. The use of the NVDEC technology also slightly speeds up conversion (up to 10%).
How to enable NVIDIA® acceleration
If you have an NVIDIA® GPU, you can take advantage of the hardware acceleration for all compatible video formats. NVIDIA® acceleration is enabled by default; if you wish, you can disable it in the Settings menu under Preferences.
Please note: If you have the latest version of the graphics driver installed, but NVIDIA hardware acceleration is not available, your graphics card probably supports only CUDA™ acceleration, not NVENC. To reactivate CUDA™ acceleration, download and install an earlier driver (version 340.43 or older).
AMD® Hardware Acceleration
Movavi Video Converter now supports AMD® hardware acceleration! The owners of systems with AMD/ATI Radeon graphics cards will now be able to decode large video files (in 2K and 4K) twice faster than when using a regular decoding method.Supported Graphics Cards
