How to Convert Videos with a Free MTS Converter

You can also use VLC Media Player as a free file converter – just download VLC for Windows or Mac, launch the program, and do the following.

Click Media in the upper left corner of the program window and select Convert / Save. In a dialog box that opens, add your MTS files by clicking the Add button on the right.
